King Crab

donn Bramer on 15-May-2007 at 13:31:57

Played in an area coned off. Approx. 20 feet wide by 30-40 feet long. Two or three kids get in middle of field on their backs. They lift their butt up and will crawl with there hands behind their back and their feet. They have to move around and kick the rest of the players balls out of the square as the players line up at one end and move to the other end of the field. As your ball is kicked out, you become a crab also and try to kick out other balls. Players move the ball from one end to the other end . Then go back as a bunch once everyone has reached across the field that still has a ball. Last one left with a ball to cross the field is the winner.. Players have to learn to dribble and stop ball and change directions to get around the crabs to get to the other end of the field. The crabs crawl around on their feet and hands with their butt facing the ground giving them hand and feet coordination skills also. They never want to stop playing. Go start of practice to stretch them and get them excited.
