I have found pitching wiffle golf balls to my players increases their eye-on-ball focus. Take two dozen wiffle golf balls and pitch them to the batter watching their swinging mechanics. They have to concentrate in order to hit the small ball. After they can hit at least 12 of the 24 balls, I switch to a regular baseball. Look out, to them it looks like a softball!
